A note before you read
We compete with Thryv's marketing services, though not its software. Everything about Thryv here comes from its own published terms (effective September 18, 2026) and FAQ, linked below. Your signed order controls, so check the current versions and your own contract.
What Thryv's terms say
- Your initial subscription period is set when you order.
- Renewal: annual periods renew automatically for another year. Periods under 12 months renew month to month.
- Cancelling: you must give notice at least 30 days before your next subscription period begins. You can cancel within three days of purchase for a full refund; otherwise the terms say no refunds, except where stated.
- Your website: Thryv's FAQ says that if you cancel after your initial term, your Thryv is taken down, including your website. It also says you can reactivate within 60 business days without losing content.
- Your content: the terms give Thryv a perpetual licence to use content you provide.
- Your data may be kept for up to 13 months after termination, but may be deleted sooner.
- Text-message numbers from Thryv are disconnected or may be reassigned when the subscription ends.

When Thryv might be the better fit
If you want one system for your CRM, scheduling, invoicing and payments, Thryv's software is built for that, and we don't sell software. Some contractors use business software like that alongside a separate SEO provider, keeping their website and Google profile in their own name.

If you're thinking of leaving Thryv
- Find your renewal date and give notice at least 30 days before it, in the way the terms require.
- Save your website content and photos before cancelling, since the site comes down.
- Move your domain to an account in your name if it isn't already.
- Update your Google profile so it points to your new site and phone number, and confirm you're the primary owner.
- Tell customers your number if you were using a Thryv number for texts or calls.
