ElectricianSEO
Electrician SEO for service calls and the bigger jobs people research first: panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators. Your profile, your pages, your calls.
- Month to month after 3 months
- No exit fee
- You own it all
How people find you
Half your work starts with something that stopped working. The other half starts with a project the homeowner has been reading about for a month.
Something stopped working
- electrician near me
- outlet not working
- breaker keeps tripping
- power out in half the house
- emergency electrician
These go to the map pack. Proximity, a complete Google profile, the right primary category and recent reviews decide who gets the call.
A project they're planning
- panel upgrade cost
- 200 amp service upgrade
- ev charger installation
- whole house generator
- recessed lighting installation
Project searches reward pages. Someone pricing a Level 2 charger for a new car wants to know what's involved, whether they need a panel upgrade, roughly what it costs and how long the permit takes. A page per project, per city you work in, answers that before they call.
Electrician SEO vs. electrician marketing
Most electrical contractor marketing is a pile of ads. SEO for electricians is slower to start and cheaper to keep: the pages and the profile keep bringing calls after the setup month, without paying per click.

Your license on display
License number on the site and in the profile description where your state allows it. Homeowners check, and it separates you from handymen.
Residential and commercial kept apart
If you do both, they get separate pages so a property manager and a homeowner each land on the page written for them.
Photos of finished work
A clean panel, a mounted charger, a generator pad. Real job photos on your profile and pages beat stock pictures of lightning bolts.
The deal, in writing
These are the contract terms, not sales lines. They're on the pricing page next to the prices and in the agreement you sign.
Your domain, website, hosting account, Google Business Profile and Analytics are in your name from day one. We work inside them as a manager you can remove.
Three months minimum, then month to month. Send 30 days' notice by email. Billing stops on the cancel date.
Leaving costs nothing. No buyout of the rest of the year, no collections letter.
The call-tracking number is yours too. If you leave, we port it to you and the calls keep ringing your phone.
Calls come from your own listing and your own site, straight to you. Nothing is shared with or resold to other contractors.
If the setup work listed for your plan isn't delivered within 30 days, that month's fee comes back. We guarantee the work, never a ranking.
What one job covers
Put in what a typical project job (panel upgrade, generator, EV charger) brings in. The math uses the published price and setup fee.
Use your own number
Growth for 12 months is $997 × 12 + $1,500 setup = $13,464. Map Pack is $497 × 12 + $750 = $6,714.
How the first six months go
First, the audit.
A short video of where you show up now: your map pack position in the cities you serve, who outranks you, what's wrong on your Google profile and which city pages are missing. Free.
Then, month one.
Setup you can see by day 30: your Google Business Profile fixed (categories, services, service areas, hours, photos), service-area city pages built (3, 10 or 20 depending on plan), call tracking and Google Analytics 4 set up in your name, and review requests going out after every job.
Months two and three.
New pages every month, review requests, spam reporting on fake competitor listings, and link building on Growth and Dominate. You get a report each month from your own Google data.
Months three to six.
This is when most of the ranking movement shows up. SEO takes three to six months; quieter cities can move sooner and crowded metros take longer. Nobody can promise a position, and we don't.
What counts as a lead
A lead is a real call or form from your own tracking. Not a click, not an impression, not a ranking.
- Counts: a call to the tracking number on your Google profile or website that connects for 30 seconds or more, or a form filled in on your site with a real name and a way to reach them.
- Doesn't count: spam and robocalls, existing customers calling about an open job, wrong numbers, vendors, and the same person calling twice in a day.
- Where the numbers come from: your Google Business Profile performance data, your Google Analytics 4 property and your call-tracking log. All three are in your name, so you can check every figure.
| Source | Calls | Forms | Last month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Business Profile (map pack) | 22 | 0 | 17 |
| Website, from Google search | 10 | 9 | 6 |
| Website, other sources | 2 | 2 | 3 |
Done this month: 2 city pages, an EV charger installation page, a panel upgrade page, 8 job photos, 11 review requests sent (6 reviews in).
Next month: A generator page, 2 more city pages, a commercial services page.
Illustrative numbers to show the format, not a client result.

Shop Firewood (shopfirewood.com) is a directory we built and launched in September 2026. These are its first 28 days, straight from Google Search Console. It isn't a contractor, so read it as proof a new site can get found, not as a client result.

Electrician questions
The free audit answers most of these for your business specifically.
What Google Business Profile category should an electrician use?
Usually "Electrician" as the primary category, with secondary categories only for work you really do (for example "Electrical installation service"). Categories you don't serve can hurt more than they help, and stuffing them is one route to a suspension.
Should we list our license number?
If your state requires or allows it, yes: on every page footer and in your profile description. It answers a question homeowners have before they call, and it's something unlicensed competitors can't copy.
We do mostly commercial work. Does local SEO still help?
Yes, with different pages. Facility managers and general contractors search differently from homeowners: by service, by building type and by city. We build those pages separately so each audience lands on the right one.
Our new listing got suspended before we even finished setting it up. Can you help?
That happens a lot with new electrical listings. See how reinstatement works; it's a fixed $497, half up front. If it's a verification problem rather than a suspension, verification help is $197.
How long before the phone rings more?
Setup is done in month one, and you can see it. Most of the ranking movement shows up between months three and six. Project pages sometimes pick up searches sooner because fewer competitors write them.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. We guarantee the work. If the setup listed for your plan isn't delivered within 30 days, that month's fee is refunded.
