GBPoptimization
GBP optimization for contractors, then monthly management so it stays right: categories, services, photos, review requests, and reporting the fake listings that push you down.
- Month to month after 3 months
- No exit fee
- You own it all
Why the profile comes first
For most contractors, the Google Business Profile brings more calls than the website. People tap Call straight from the map results.
The map pack is the three listings with the map above the regular results. For searches like "plumber near me" or "roof repair" plus a city, those three listings take most of the calls. The profile decides whether you're one of them.
Google business profile optimization is the one-time cleanup. Management is keeping it right every month afterward: new photos, posts, answering reviews, watching for edits Google or the public suggest, and reporting spam.
GBP optimization
The setup, done once and checked monthly.

1
primary category that matches the job people search for. It's the biggest single setting on the profile.
Fixed at setup
- Primary and secondary categories
- Every service listed
- Service areas
- Hours that match your phones
- Business name as registered
- Photos of real jobs
Every month after
Profile posts, new job photos, replies to every review, checks on edits suggested by Google or the public, and a report from the profile's own performance data.
Review requests
A text or email after each job asking for an honest review. No incentives, no filtering out unhappy customers; both break Google's rules.
Spam reporting on fake competitors
Lead-gen listings at fake addresses and keyword-stuffed names push real contractors out of the map pack. We report them every month through Google's own tools and the Business Redressal form until they come down.

Fake listings, reported
In a lot of cities the map pack for plumbing, locksmith, garage door and HVAC searches is crowded with listings that aren't real businesses at the address shown. Reporting them is slow, dull work that most agencies skip.
It's included in every plan. When a before-and-after from a client is available, it goes here.
How the first six months go
First, the audit.
A short video of where you show up now: your map pack position in the cities you serve, who outranks you, what's wrong on your Google profile and which city pages are missing. Free.
Then, month one.
Setup you can see by day 30: your Google Business Profile fixed (categories, services, service areas, hours, photos), service-area city pages built (3, 10 or 20 depending on plan), call tracking and Google Analytics 4 set up in your name, and review requests going out after every job.
Months two and three.
New pages every month, review requests, spam reporting on fake competitor listings, and link building on Growth and Dominate. You get a report each month from your own Google data.
Months three to six.
This is when most of the ranking movement shows up. SEO takes three to six months; quieter cities can move sooner and crowded metros take longer. Nobody can promise a position, and we don't.
What counts as a lead
A lead is a real call or form from your own tracking. Not a click, not an impression, not a ranking.
- Counts: a call to the tracking number on your Google profile or website that connects for 30 seconds or more, or a form filled in on your site with a real name and a way to reach them.
- Doesn't count: spam and robocalls, existing customers calling about an open job, wrong numbers, vendors, and the same person calling twice in a day.
- Where the numbers come from: your Google Business Profile performance data, your Google Analytics 4 property and your call-tracking log. All three are in your name, so you can check every figure.
| Source | Calls | Forms | Last month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Business Profile (map pack) | 27 | 0 | 19 |
| Website, from Google search | 11 | 8 | 7 |
| Website, other sources | 3 | 1 | 4 |
Done this month: 2 city pages (Coral Springs, Davie), 12 Google profile photos, 4 profile posts, 9 review requests sent (5 reviews in), 1 spam listing reported and removed.
Next month: 2 more city pages, a maintenance-plan page, a heat pump service page.
Illustrative numbers to show the format, not a client result.
GBP questions
The free audit answers most of these for your business specifically.
What's the difference between GBP optimization and management?
Optimization is the one-time cleanup: categories, services, service areas, hours, name, photos. Management is the monthly work afterward: posts, photos, review replies, review requests, spam reports and watching for unwanted edits.
Can I buy Google Business Profile management on its own?
It's included in every plan, starting with Map Pack at $497 a month, because the profile and the website work together. If your profile is suspended or unverified, those are separate fixed fees: $497 for reinstatement and $197 for verification help.
Will you need to own or log in as my profile?
No. The profile stays in your Google account. You add us as a manager, which you can remove any time from your own account.
Do you buy reviews or offer discounts for reviews?
No. Both are against Google's policies and can get reviews removed or the profile suspended. We send review requests to every real customer and reply to every review.
Can you remove a bad review?
Only if it breaks Google's policies (fake, off-topic, from a competitor, harassment). We flag those through Google's tools. Real negative reviews get a calm, specific reply instead.
Is this only for contractors?
The plans are built for home-service businesses that drive to the customer, which is where most of the profile problems (service areas, hidden addresses, spam competitors) come from.
