Movingcompany SEO
Moving company SEO for local and long-distance movers. A Google profile that stays live, city-to-city pages and reviews that answer the question every customer has: will my stuff arrive in one piece?
- Month to month after 3 months
- No exit fee
- You own it all
How people choose a mover
Moving customers shop around, read reviews closely and worry about damage and surprise charges. Your pages need to answer both before they call.
Local moves are mostly map pack searches. Long-distance moves are researched: route pages, price ranges, licensing and what's included.
- movers near me
- local moving company [city]
- long distance movers
- apartment movers [city]
- piano movers near me
- moving company cost
Movers get suspended a lot
Moving is one of the categories Google watches closely, because of fake listings and brokers posing as movers. Movers with a hidden address and proper documents still report suspensions. Getting the profile set up exactly to the guidelines, with documents that match, matters more here than in most trades.
Licensing and insurance on the page
Interstate movers have a USDOT number. Showing it, along with your insurance and how you handle claims, separates you from brokers in the results.

A profile built to stay up
Name, address, service area and documents set up to Google's rules from the start, to lower the risk of a suspension.
Price ranges that set expectations
What a two-bedroom local move typically costs and what changes the price. It cuts down on surprise-charge complaints.
Review requests on delivery day
A text after the last box comes off the truck. Reviews that mention care and timing help most.
The deal, in writing
These are the contract terms, not sales lines. They're on the pricing page next to the prices and in the agreement you sign.
Your domain, website, hosting account, Google Business Profile and Analytics are in your name from day one. We work inside them as a manager you can remove.
Three months minimum, then month to month. Send 30 days' notice by email. Billing stops on the cancel date.
Leaving costs nothing. No buyout of the rest of the year, no collections letter.
The call-tracking number is yours too. If you leave, we port it to you and the calls keep ringing your phone.
Calls come from your own listing and your own site, straight to you. Nothing is shared with or resold to other contractors.
If the setup work listed for your plan isn't delivered within 30 days, that month's fee comes back. We guarantee the work, never a ranking.
How the first six months go
First, the audit.
A short video of where you show up now: your map pack position in the cities you serve, who outranks you, what's wrong on your Google profile and which city pages are missing. Free.
Then, month one.
Setup you can see by day 30: your Google Business Profile fixed (categories, services, service areas, hours, photos), service-area city pages built (3, 10 or 20 depending on plan), call tracking and Google Analytics 4 set up in your name, and review requests going out after every job.
Months two and three.
New pages every month, review requests, spam reporting on fake competitor listings, and link building on Growth and Dominate. You get a report each month from your own Google data.
Months three to six.
This is when most of the ranking movement shows up. SEO takes three to six months; quieter cities can move sooner and crowded metros take longer. Nobody can promise a position, and we don't.
What counts as a lead
A lead is a real call or form from your own tracking. Not a click, not an impression, not a ranking.
- Counts: a call to the tracking number on your Google profile or website that connects for 30 seconds or more, or a form filled in on your site with a real name and a way to reach them.
- Doesn't count: spam and robocalls, existing customers calling about an open job, wrong numbers, vendors, and the same person calling twice in a day.
- Where the numbers come from: your Google Business Profile performance data, your Google Analytics 4 property and your call-tracking log. All three are in your name, so you can check every figure.
| Source | Calls | Forms | Last month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Business Profile (map pack) | 21 | 0 | 15 |
| Website, from Google search | 9 | 13 | 8 |
| Website, other sources | 1 | 3 | 3 |
Done this month: 1 long-distance route page, 2 city pages, a packing services page, 12 crew and truck photos added to the Google profile, 14 review requests sent (6 reviews in).
Next month: A moving cost page, an apartment moves page, 2 more city pages.
Illustrative numbers to show the format, not a client result.
Mover questions
The free audit answers most of these for your business specifically.
Our Google profile was suspended even though we hid our address. Why?
Moving is a high-scrutiny category. Common causes are documents that don't match the profile exactly, a service area too far from the business, or a name that differs from your registration. See how reinstatement works; it's a $497 fixed fee if you want it handled.
Can you rank us in cities we move people to?
Your profile ranks near your base. City and route pages are how you show up in the other towns. Growth includes 10 city pages at setup.
Should we publish moving prices?
Ranges help. Moving customers worry about surprise charges, and a page that explains what changes the price builds trust before the call.
Do you work with moving brokers?
No. We work with movers who run their own crews and trucks.
How long does moving company SEO take?
Three to six months for most ranking movement, after setup in month one. Busy moving season is summer, so starting in winter or spring is ideal.
